Kansas football coaches are not thinking about Christmas gifts, egg nog or taking vacation time. Beyond a bowl game which the Jayhawks don’t have, this is now one of the biggest weeks for college football. For the first time, college football coaches are busy recruiting student athletes in the middle of December.
There are differing opinions on whether this 72-hour early signing period is wise. It is stressful for coaches and those schools who needed to make coaching changes. As a matter of fact, that is why virtually every school who fired a coach rapidly filled the opening.
