Did you see or read the good news on the Big 12 Player of the Week honors? Jayhawk sophomore running back Kahlil Herbert only ran for almost 300 yards and two touchdowns. As a matter of fact, the best day by any FBS running back in the nation this season is not good enough for the Big 12. That’s right. Herbert’s incredible performance didn’t even get a pat on the back from the conference.
I expected at least a co-player of the week honor from the Big 12 but not this week.
