LAWRENCE — With their long-awaited Kansas football debuts looming, Alabama transfers Charles Baldwin and Daylon Charlot were popular topics in David Beaty’s first fall camp news conference Tuesday.

The KU football coach’s message for the former Crimson Tide duo could be summed up in two words plastered throughout Anderson Family Football Complex: Earn it.
