Kansas found its point guard of the near future Wednesday, as Quentin Grimes committed to play for the Jayhawks beginning in 2018, according to Rivals.com's Jayhawk Slant.
247Sports' composite rankings lists Grimes as a 5-star recruit, as well as the No. 16 overall player and the No. 2 combo guard in his class.
Grimes is a fairly big point guard at 6'5" and 200 pounds, and that size has aided him in making waves at The Woodlands College Park High School in The Woodlands, Texas.
He boasts a diverse, two-way skill set that resulted in the likes of Kansas, Arizona, Baylor and Texas being among the major programs to offer him scholarships.
