Royals prospects continued to earn weekly minor-league awards, as three were honored for their work from Aug. 13–19.
Omaha’s Arnaldo Hernandez and Idaho Falls’ Kris Bubic garnered Pitcher of the Week in the Pacific Coast League and Pioneer League, while Northwest Arkansas outfielder Anderson Miller was named Player of the Week in the Texas League.
Hernandez put together a remarkable performance for the Storm Chasers in a 3–1 win over Oklahoma City on Aug. 15.
The right-hander tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on five hits with no walks and six strikeouts.
