The Royals announced they have re-signed outfielder Bubba Starling, first baseman Samir Duenez, and pitcher Jason Adam to minor league deals. They non-tendered the three back on November 30 to clear space on the 40-man roster. Pitcher Andres Machado, who was also non-tendered that day, has not been re-signed yet.
Bubba Starling is now 26 years old and is coming off a season lost to injury. He missed most of the beginning of the year with an oblique injury, then suffered a dislocated finger getting out of bed. That injury ended his season after just 11 games in Omaha.
