The Royals officially announced a four-year, $25 million deal with third baseman Hunter Dozier that ESPN’s Jeff Passan had previously reported.

Second: $4.5M
Third: $7.25M
Fourth: $9M
Option: $10M club option or $1M buyout
Dozier's deal has $1M escalators, which can be earned beginning this year for award recognition.
