The offseason is a time for looking ahead, but it’s also a time for reflection. The last several seasons of Royals baseball have been hard to watch, and I often times find myself thinking back to the heyday of modern Royals baseball, otherwise known as the 2014-15 seasons.
The only Royals from 2015 who were on the squad in 2020 were Adalberto Mondesi, Danny Duffy, Alex Gordon, Salvador Perez, and Greg Holland, who just re-joined the team. There were a total of 30 players who the Royals fielded during the regular season, so this will just be a quick check-in.
