The Kansas City Royals return home after a 4-6 road trip to welcome in the Chicago White Sox, a team that decided to hang on to some assets at the trade deadline that could have helped them to win in the future. The White Sox used a strong run after the Royals left town a couple weeks ago to hover around .500, and they’re sitting four games under right now. The Royals have had the White Sox number this year, winning seven of 10 games, including the first three games of the year at Kauffman Stadium. The two teams have some history, and sometimes history comes back in the dog days of August.
