Royals right-hander Scott Blewett was named the Arizona Fall League Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday. Blewett, Kansas City’s u211626 prospect according to MLB.com, went 1–0 with a 1.23 ERA (1 ER in 7.1 IP) in two starts with six strikeouts.
Blewett, 22, went 8–6 with a 4.79 ERA (79 ER in 148.1 IP) in 26 appearances (25 starts) with Double-A Northwest Arkansas this season.
