Perez crushed a home run over the train tracks at Minute Maid Park in his first at-bat on Sunday. Perez has homered in four straight games, the first Royal to do that since Billy Butler did it from July 26-29 in 2011.
Perez's home run on Sunday was a blast. Statcast™ estimated it traveled 437 feet from home plate with an exit velocity of 108.8 mph -- that was Perez's hardest-hit home run in the Statcast™ era.
All four of Perez's homers this season have been solo shots.
