SEATTLE (AP) -- The Kansas City Royals have shuffled right-handed relievers, calling up Michael Mariot from Triple-A Omaha and sending down Aaron Brooks.
The Royals made the moves before Monday night's game at Seattle.
Mariot joins the Royals for the first time this season. He went 1-0 with a 6.48 ERA in 17 relief appearances for them last year.
Brooks allowed three runs in 3 1-3 innings Sunday, a day after being recalled from Omaha.
