The Royals showed their playoff mettle early on against the Astros, overcoming a two-run deficit with two runs in the sixth inning and the go-ahead run in the seventh for a huge win to even the series 1-1 before heading on the road to face ace Dallas Keuchel in Game 3.
Kansas City trailed after the top of the first and was behind on the scoreboard until Ben Zobrist finally gave the Royals the lead for good with a single to score Alcides Escobar two batters into the bottom of the seventh.
