The Carolina League announced its postseason All-Stars on Thursday morning and Wilmington Blue Rocks southpaw Kris Bubic and outfielder Brewer Hicklen are among this year’s honorees. Hicklen’s award is his first career All-Star selection, while Bubic earned his second All-Star honor.

Bubic was named an All-Star for the second time in his career, after garnering midseason All-Star honors in 2018 with Idaho Falls (Pioneer League). The postseason All-Star honor is one in a recent series of awards, after Bubic was named Carolina League Pitcher of the Week last week and Baseball America noted him as their Royals’ Minor League Player of the Year earlier this week.
