A trio of Royals pitching prospects were named Classification All-Stars by Baseball America, as announced by the publication today. Southpaw Kris Bubic (Advanced-A), right hander Adrian Alcantara (Rookie) and right hander Luis De La Rosa (Dominican Summer League) were honored for their respective leagues.
Awarded annually by Baseball America, Classification All-Stars honor the top players at each Minor League level, regardless of league or parent organization.
Bubic, 22, led all Minor League pitchers with 185 strikeouts and went 11–5 with a 2.23 ERA (37 ER in 149.
