USA Baseball’s Premier12 roster was announced on Thursday, and it includes Royals left-handed pitching prospect Daniel Tillo.
Tillo is one of 28 players on the USA roster, which is comprised of players not currently on a 40-man roster. The roster also includes Bryan Flynn, who pitched in the Royals’ organization in 2019, but is currently a free agent.
The tournament — which represents USA’s first opportunity to qualify for the 2020 Olympics — will be held in Mexico, where USA will compete in a pool with the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the Netherlands.
