Royals Charities, through the Royals Respond Fund, will partner on Tuesday, May 26, with Operation BBQ Relief, Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbeque and Brancato’s Catering to distribute food to first responders in Kansas City, Mo., and Kansas City, Kan. Some 1,250 first responders from the KCMO police and fire departments and 1,250 first responders from the KCK police and fire departments will receive the food as a thank you for their hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also, an Operation BBQ Relief tent and hot shot truck will be set up in Lot A at the Truman Sports Complex to serve KCMO first responders stationed close to the stadium.
