Everyone knows that the Kansas City Royals need to address their outfield this offseason. Royals outfielders were 22nd in WRC+ and 23rd in fWAR in 2026, and that is buoyed by Jac Caglianone in right field. Remove their budding star in right, the others had a combined 83 WRC+ and 1.9 fWAR, which would have ranked 29th and 27th, respectively.
Finding two everyday outfielders in one offseason is tough to do, though. With the Royals' infield likely set, barring a trade, and another budding star at catcher in Carter Jensen, the outfield becomes an even greater emphasis for upgrading the offense as well.
