The Royals’ 12.1 average rating was not just the best rating for a major-league team on a regional network, it was the best April for a regional baseball network since 2002.
“I can’t say I’m too surprised,” said Jack Donovan, general manager for Fox Sports Kansas City. “The team has captured the region with its style of play.
