The Royals made another roster move today.
Cole Ragans has been transferred to the 60-day IL, Mark Canha has been placed on the 10-day IL, and Cam Devanney has been selected from the minor league roster. Devanney is not in tonight’s starting lineup as announced.
Ragans being moved to the 60-day IL should not be of any concern to Royals fans. He was never going to be back before he’d been gone 60 days anyway. While Mark Canha did hit a home run over the weekend, he has a season-long wRC+ of only 49 and doesn’t play defense particularly well anymore.
