It did not take long for the dust to officially settle on the first half of the season for J.J. Picollo and the Kansas City Royals front office to get their trade deadline started.
The Royals are reportedly acquiring veteran utility man and old friend Adam Frazier in exchange for recently promoted fellow utility option Cam Devanney, as per FanSided's Robert Murray.
Trade: The Kansas City Royals are acquiring infielder Adam Frazier from the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to sources familiar with the deal. Cam Devanney is going to the Pirates.

As nice at it may be to see the Royals "buying" ahead of the deadline, this a deal that can only be described as somewhat of a head-scratcher.
