The Kansas City Royals have won 17 of their last 50 games. This is bad. What’s even worse is how the Royals have played over most of the month of June, when they have won 4 of their last 20 games. Oof.
Let’s keep a bit of an open mind here: the Royals will not be this way forever. They’re gonna get hot again—I promise. We’re in the worst stretch of the season. Furthermore, there’s a reasonable chance that this team looks completely different in August; Adalberto Mondesi isn’t going to be injured forever, Andrew Benintendi will be back, Bobby Witt, Jr.
