The Royals, who are 7 games in front of the preseason favorite Minnesota Twins, will open up a three-game set behind the right arm of Brady Singer. He will be opposed by Michael Pineda, who is also off to a good start in 2021.
The Twins’ offense has been awful, save for Byron Buxton, thus far. They got it going a bit in Cleveland over the week, but this is the team Kansas City is going to want to rack up some wins against if they hope to contend for the division.
