Former big league infielder Alex Cora, now with ESPN, reports that the Royals are looking at Jose Reyes.
The Kansas City Royals just cut ties with second baseman Omar Infante, despite Infante having another year and a half left on his contract.
Now, according to a tweet from ESPN's Alex Cora, the Royals are interested in Jose Reyes to take Infante's place. Cora does not name a source.
Reyes was designated for assignment by the Rockies almost immediately following his 51-game suspension for domestic violence. The suspension was the result of a domestic violence charge from an October incident in Hawaii.
