Kansas City to keep Volquez?

The Marlins are also interest in Volquez, but talks between the two sides haven't developed. Volquez is 8-9 with a 4.70 ERA in 22 starts this season.

Morales on way out of KC?
Kansas City isn't opening making DH Kendrys Morales available for trade like they have with Volquez, but several teams have expressed interest in making a last-second deal, reports's Jeffrey Flanagan:

Morales is .244 with 16 home runs and 49 RBIs this season.
