The Latest Royals Trade Rumors On Rich Hill, Josh Reddick, Danny Valencia And Matt Moore

The MLB trade deadline on July 31st is rapidly approaching, and the trade rumors are starting to heat up. One team that has been the subject of several rumors is the Kansas City Royals. Plagued by injuries this year, the Royals are still 43-39 and in the thick of the wild card race. That would put the Royals in the buyers column, unless something drastic happens. With that in mind, here all the latest Royals trade rumors below.

Royals Interested In Rich Hill And Josh Reddick?
The Royals reportedly have interest in a pair of Oakland Athletics, per the San Francisco Chronicle. Reddick, an OF, will be a free agent after this season ends. With the Royals battling injuries in the outfield, he could help as a starter or a fourth OF. Hill has pitched great this season, and despite being 36 years old, could cost a bit in a deal. With the A's struggling, both players are on the trade block.

Does Kansas City Want Danny Valencia?
The A's third baseman played for the Royals in 2014, but there are conflicting reports about if the Royals want him. Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports the Royals are looking at Valencia to help replace the injured Mike Moustakas. However, the Chronicle says the Royals don't have any interest

Royals Looking At Matt Moore?
Another name connected to the Royals by Cafardo is Rays pitcher Matt Moore. If the Rays decide to move him, the 22-year old should get a solid return. That could be an issue for the Royals, who might not be willing or able to give up the needed prospects in a bidding war.
