Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs are busy in the greater metro area or their own hometowns working to better the communities around them. The team has a strong give-back ethos, and already this offseason we’ve seen Derrick Thomas, Jaye Howard, Eric Berry, Dontari Poe and numerous others take part in charitable works, hospital visits, fundraisers, youth camps and so much more. Travis Kelce is also doing his part by helping partner with United Healthcare to donate $20,000 to Oak Grove School District in Oak Grove, Missouri.
Per a press release, the donation will help provide a refinished gymnasium floor for students at Oak Grove Elementary School, the sort of large-scale building program and need that’s often hard to provide.
