Transaction roundup: Lovett, McCoy find new teams; Chiefs cut reserve safety

The day after the Kansas City Chiefs waived six players to get their active roster down to 80, they made another roster move — this time releasing former Florida Athletic University safety Andrew Soroh.

Meanwhile, H-back John Lovett — one of the players the Chiefs waived on Wednesday — has been picked up by the Green Bay Packers. And a report from ESPN insider Adam Schefter revealed that another former Chiefs player has been signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
