The hotel rooms are nicer and the sweaters aren’t so 1990s but I imagine the basics of an NFL Combine interview are similar today to what they were 25 years ago when Carl Peterson and Marty Schottenheimer were running the show in Kansas City.
NFL Films released this clip from 1993 of the Chiefs interviewing prospects at the NFL Combine. Note the 1990s sweats here. In fact, I might even argue those are more 1980s sweaters and they’re just out of style here in 1993. The hotel room is also very 1990s.
