Make no mistake, Chiefs fans: The first five minutes of The Kingdom will have you on the edge of your seat.
When I first learned of The Kingdom, a six-episode docuseries chronicling the Kansas City Chiefs (ESPN+/Disney+), I considered the lens through which this series would be produced. Within the first five minutes, you hear the voice of NFL Network's Rich Eisen point out that "a lot of people are sick and tired of the Chiefs," and "the national conversation: the officials are in the Chiefs' pocket."
So I cautiously entered Episode 1, wondering if the series would be dunking on Kansas City's failure to complete the three-peat.
