The NFL has officially reached the most brutal day on the NFL calendar: roster cutdown day. Every team will cut nearly 40 players as they enter the regular season with a 53-man roster. With that process already underway, the Kansas City Chiefs have started moving on from players, and many former Chiefs have been cut from their respective teams as well.
One former Kansas City player who will now be looking for a new home is Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The veteran running back was released by the New Orleans on Tuesday, ending his time with his hometown team.
