KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Multiple bullets were fired at the Kansas City Chiefs practice facility in May 2024 and one entered coach Andy Reid's office while he was inside, and while nobody was injured, authorities said Thursday the case remains open and under investigation.
The Kansas City Star, citing multiple sources, first reported late Wednesday that Reid was working alone in early May 2024 when a bullet fired from outside the building broke through glass and left a hole through the window and blinds. It got lodged in a wall between his bathroom and the entry door to his office.
