The 2025 Kansas City Chiefs season clearly did not go according to plan, and no position encapsulated that better than defensive tackle. The Chiefs let Derrick Nnadi walk in free agency only to trade back for him. They cut Mike Pennel in the hopes he’d sign to their practice squad, and he left for a period of time. They drafted Omarr Norman-Lott, who showed flashes but had his season cut short due to injury. The defensive tackle position for the Chiefs was Chris Jones and nothing else.
