Texas Tech University has announced their commencement speaker for the Class of 2020 is the Chiefs own MVP Patrick Mahomes.
Texas Tech’s class of 2020 isn’t going to get to enjoy the typical graduation ceremonies and commencement routines that classes before them have enjoyed—just like every other graduate this year.
The measures taken to stave off the spread of the coronavirus have altered plans for everyone around the globe, but Texas Tech is feeling good, as they should, about their ability to deliver a star speaker nonetheless for online commencement ceremonies.
