On Wednesday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes recorded an interview for Thursday’s edition of ESPN’s “Pat McAfee Show.”
Just as he had done while speaking with Kansas City reporters that day, Mahomes said that the team was “going to get back to throwing the deep ball” — but this time, that will allow defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to do his thing.
“When we get up,” he explained, “that’s when Spagnuolo can really show off all those blitzes he’s working on, man.
