The reigning AP NFL Most Valuable Player, Patrick Mahomes, will have two more opportunities to add hardware to his collection at ESPN’s 27th annual ESPYS awards.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was named a nominee for both “Best Male Athlete” and “Best NFL Player” for his 2018 season.

“Best Male Athlete” nominees

“Best NFL Player” nominees
Common sense would tell you since no other NFL player is nominated for “Best Male Athlete,” Mahomes should take home “Best NFL Player.
