Patrick Mahomes loves the Chiefs’ new offensive players

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spoke to reporters after the team’s Sunday morning practice — and was more than happy to lay praise at the feet of first-round rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who is now presumed to be the team’s starter after Damien Williams opted out of the 2020 season.

“He’s a hard worker,” said the Super Bowl MVP. “That’s the first thing that you can see from day one. He’s always wanting to learn more. He’s wanting to get in every single rep that they let him in.
