Patrick Mahomes debuted his 2021 season in impressive fashion.
The K.C. Chiefs got off to a rocky start when safety Tyrann Mathieu and defensive end Frank Clark were both inactive for the home opener against the Cleveland Browns. Couple that with Willie Gay Jr. on injured reserve and the Chiefs were looking at a depleted defense against a great offense.
