After taking a year off from a nationwide stadium tour in 2017, country music superstar Kenny Chesney has announced that he will return to Arrowhead Stadium as part of his “Trip Around the Sun Tour” on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion and Brandon Lay will open for Chesney.
The concert announcement is the second for Arrowhead Events in 2018 as the organization again puts a focus on bringing a variety of entertainment options to the Home of the Chiefs. Chesney’s 2018 stop will mark the 11th concert date for Arrowhead Stadium since 2011 and will be the 51st concert or music festival in Arrowhead Stadium history.
