Kendall Fuller returns to Washington Redskins on four-year deal

Every Super Bowl champion endures the corresponding roster purge in the ensuing offseason, and the Kansas City Chiefs are no exception to the rule. The latest player to find big money in free agency is former Chiefs cornerback Kendall Fuller, who is heading back to his original NFL franchise with the Washington Redskins.

Reports say that Fuller got a lot of money to be a cornerstone in the secondary for new head coach Ron Rivera. Fuller will reportedly receive a four-year, $44 million contract when free agency officially opens on Wednesday.

It’s an interesting turn of events for Fuller to enjoy a homecoming in Washington considering that he was originally traded from Washington to Kansas City as the only player in return for quarterback Alex Smith.
