The wait is over. The Kansas City Chiefs now reportedly have every member of the 2017 NFL draft class under contract if Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star is correct. His latest report says that Patrick Mahomes, the No. 10 overall selection from the draft, is now under contract.
The timing of the signing is perfect as the Chiefs rookies, which also includes undrafted free agents, will report in a matter of days to St. Joseph for training camp. For Mahomes in particular, it’s a very important time for him to get his feet wet and learn as much as possible as the team’s developing franchise quarterback.
