Kansas City Chiefs sign Demone Harris, release Joey Ivie

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to make moves to alter their defensive front in the face of frustrating injuries. With their latest move, they have signed away defensive lineman Demone Harris and have released defensive tackle Joey Ivie from the active roster.

Harris, a former defensive end for the University of Buffalo, entered the National Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2018 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent the majority of the season on the team’s practice squad and looked ready for the same this season until he was released in mid-October. The Ravens then signed him to their practice squad, which is where the Chiefs found him.
