On Monday and Tuesday of this week, the Kansas City Chiefs made a couple of moves to replace the third tight end on the roster with the early release of Ross Travis and the subsequent move to promote Orson Charles from the team’s practice squad.
The move shifts the Chiefs away from having two former college basketball players behind All-Pro starting tight end Travis Kelce and gives the Chiefs a solid blocker at tight end on the roster.
