The Kansas City Chiefs officially announced the signing of free agent wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin on Friday, and to make room for him on the active roster, the team also announced that defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins would be released.
The signing of Benjamin has raised eyebrows around the league and within the team’s fan base. Benjamin hasn’t exactly built up any goodwill in his first two stints around the league. He spent the first three years of his career with the Carolina Panthers before being traded to the Buffalo Bills for the 2017 season.
