After a solid 2019 campaign that culminated with an interception on the NFL’s grandest stage, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland was expected to sign elsewhere this past offseason. Free agency opened and yet, for weeks, the 28-year-old remained without a contract.
