The Houston Texans have made the latest addition to their front office personnel and it’s a familiar face for Kansas City fans, who might recognize the name Jimmy Raye III from his days with the Chiefs.
The Raye family should be familiar to Chiefs fans, although it might be easy to get some names confused. In this instance, Jimmy Raye III was with the Chiefs for only one season, back in 1995 as a quality control coach. That was Marty Schottenheimer’s 13-3 season with Steve Bono and Marcus Allen on offense and Neil Smith, Dale Carter and, of course, Derrick Thomas on defense.
