Here’s an idea for what to do if Chiefs-Rams game has to be moved from Mexico City

The NFL has a mess on its hand, and I’m not just talking about the field at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

That’s the site of the Monday night game between the Chiefs and the Rams, but the condition of the field is so poor that the NFL is weighing its options about whether to move the game to Los Angeles.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that one option is to postpone the game, and that’s likely because the Chiefs and Rams have a bye week after their scheduled Monday contest.

But a few people are floating a new idea: move the game to Los Angeles and give proceeds to those who have been affected by the devastating wildfires in California.
