The Kansas City Chiefs have been hampered by underwhelming wide receiver play ever since the departure of Tyreek Hill. This offseason has been no different, as the team is begging for someone to step up out wide, especially with Rashee Rice suspended for the first six games of the season.
Second-year wideout Xavier Worthy was the obvious player who needed to make a major leap in 2025 if the Chiefs' offense wanted to be more explosive. Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury just three plays into Friday's season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers and did not return.
