Former Chiefs RB Ted McKnight inducted into Duluth Athletic Hall of Fame

The Duluth News-Tribune is reporting that former Kansas City Chiefs running back Ted McKnight will be one of six new inductees into the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) Athletic Hall of Fame.

McKnight, a player at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, was a second round pick by the Oakland Raiders in 1977, but he never played for them. Instead he was picked up by the Chiefs and became their leading rusher from 1978-1980, averaging a robust 6.0 yards per carry in 1978. McKnight finished his Chiefs (and NFL) career with 528 carries for 2,344 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns.
