Former Chiefs lineman lands new NFL home after brief KC stint

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced a couple of roster moves two weeks into training camp on Monday, and a familiar face for Kansas City Chiefs fans was involved. Former Chiefs offensive lineman Tremayne Anchrum has found a new home shortly before the 2025 season is set to begin.

The Jags announced the signings of both Anchrum and defensive lineman Austin Johnson, who is himself a known name to Chiefs Kingdom after a couple of seasons in the division with the rival L.A. Chargers.

The Jaguars waived wide receiver J.J. Jones in order to help make room for the veterans.
